Fire services technicians install, inspect, and repair systems that safeguard buildings from fire hazards, complying with NFPA standards. Technicians inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm/sprinkler systems per NFPA 25/72, adjusting/programming equipment for proper function. They install wire/conduit from plans/diagrams, generate inspection reports in Microsoft Word/Excel, and handle end-user setup/operations. Tools include fire panels from Notifier and other brands, ensuring compliance with safety codes. Timely completion of work orders requires punctual attendance.

Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repairs of fire alarm/sprinkler systems per NFPA 25/72
- Install, service, repair various fire alarm/suppression systems
- Adjust, program, service fire alarm equipment
- Assist end users with setup, operation, configuration of fire protection systems
- Generate accurate inspection reports using NFPA templates
- Install wire and conduit for fire detection systems
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, codes, standards
- Ensure timely high-quality completion of work orders/service calls
- Maintain punctual attendance
- Operate company tools/equipment safely
Requirements
- 2-3 years fire alarm/sprinkler inspection/installation/repair experience
- Knowledge of Notifier and other manufacturer fire panels
- Strong understanding of NFPA 25/72 codes
- Ability to install, program, troubleshoot, repair systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel for reports
- Ability to work from blueprints/wiring diagrams
- Valid driver’s license and clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, drug test, background check
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm or Water-Based Systems preferred
- Experience with additional manufacturers preferred
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
