Job Description
This role ensures availability and security of IT infrastructure for ETS, supporting addiction and social services through technology. It solves continuity challenges by managing Azure environments, identities, and cybersecurity. The engineer configures systems, monitors performance, and resolves escalated issues for smooth operations.
Evergreen Treatment Services transforms lives through addiction and social services in Western Washington for over 50 years. The organization focuses on community justice, health equity, and racial equity.
Tasks include administering Azure cloud and VMs, migrating Active Directory to Entra ID, managing cybersecurity products like CrowdStrike, and performing backups. Uses PowerShell for scripting, Cisco Meraki for networks, and monitors via Microsoft Defender Sentinel. Interactions with IT staff, vendors, and stakeholders. One challenge is managing cyber threats while complying with HIPAA and maintaining data integrity in a hybrid setting.
Compensation from $101,700 to $160,000 annually. Hybrid with 3 days onsite at Seattle clinic, 2 days remote. Full-time. Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and maintain Azure cloud environments.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Windows servers, Active Directory.
- Configure CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, KnowBe4.
- Resolve escalated IT issues.
- Migrate Active Directory to Entra ID.
- Ensure network and application uptime.
- Manage projects, work with vendors.
- Perform backups and recovery.
- Manage Cisco Meraki devices.
- Review system diagnostics.
- Deploy software updates.
- Support troubleshooting.
- Monitor network performance.
- Set up Microsoft Defender Sentinel.
- Configure applications like Entra ID, Exchange.
- Manage DLP policies.
- Monitor for viruses and intrusions.
- Participate in information security.
- Evaluate new technologies.
- Monitor HIT trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certificate or equivalent.
- 10+ years administering Windows servers/network.
- 5+ years Azure configuration.
- 3+ years PowerShell scripting.
- 2+ years cyber security experience preferred.
- 2+ years network design preferred.
- Washington State Patrol criminal background check.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
