Processing medical record requests in Orlando, this role manages patient health information by responding to calls and documentation needs, ensuring accurate records that enable timely healthcare decisions for providers and insurers. Patients benefit from compliant access to their data, solving barriers in traditional filing systems through digital organization.

Specialists receive and process requests per policies, maintain confidentiality, use software for documentation, inform managers of issues, assist additional duties, apply privacy regulations, manage records securely compliant with HIPAA, prepare charts from sources, assemble in standard order, create digital images, respond to retrieval requests, answer calls, assist walk-ins, handle administrative tasks like faxes and mail, meet productivity metrics, and schedule pick-ups. Work involves two computer monitors, phones, fax machines, printers, and office equipment, interacting with patients, insurance, attorneys, and internal teams, with challenges in high-volume production and fluctuating volumes.

This full-time Monday-Friday role runs 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST in one location, offering PTO, health, vision, dental insurance, 401(k), and tuition assistance, with potential overtime during peaks.
