Job Description
The patient access representative welcomes 30-60 patients per day in urgent care clinics to provide fast, friendly check-ins impacting healthcare access for St. Louis communities. This role solves patient experience issues by handling intake in a high-volume setting. Daily methods include greeting patients, inputting data into electronic medical records, verifying insurance via online tools, explaining co-pays and deductibles, collecting payments, and managing calls while collaborating with clinical staff to smooth patient flow.

It delivers state-of-the-art services with onsite digital X-ray, CT scan, Ultrasound, EKG, and laboratory assays. Operations include IV hydration, medication administration, laceration suturing, reduction and splinting of minor fractures and dislocations, and abscess drainage to serve communities efficiently. Urgent Care Group organizes TAUC operations to change healthcare delivery with affordable care ranging $17-18 per hour starting pay.

Challenges include managing time under pressure in team-driven environments with alternating 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Starting pay ranges from $17-18 per hour based on experience with full-time flexible schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 8 AM to 8 PM, alternating weekends and holidays, allowing weekday off-days.
