This role ensures equipment and ingredients meet quality checks, ultimately delivering safe meals to customers. Duties involve rotating produce, inspecting utensils, and adhering to sanitation guidelines, which directly protects diner health and restaurant reputation.

Naked Farmer operates six farm-to-table restaurants across Tampa Bay and South Florida, focusing on seasonal vegetables and healthy, affordable meals. The company aims to connect farmers with communities while expanding to nine locations over 18 months, including a new site in Charlotte opening in January.

Typical work includes putting away and rotating produce and food orders, inspecting cooking utensils and equipment for quality and cleanliness, operating kitchen machinery such as knives, ovens, grills, food processors, and blenders, consistently following food safety and sanitation protocols, thoroughly cleaning and organizing station areas, assisting with food preparation tasks as needed, washing dishes by hand and machine, removing garbage from the restaurant and bus tables from dining areas, while handling flexible responsibilities to support the team's needs in a fast-paced environment with equipment that requires careful maintenance.

Compensation ranges from $17 to $17.50 per hour. Location involves working at the new Naked Farmer restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Responsibilities

  • Efficiently put away and rotate produce and food orders, ensuring freshness and longevity
  • Inspect all cooking utensils and equipment to guarantee they meet standards for quality and cleanliness
  • Skillfully operate kitchen machinery, including knives, ovens, grills, food processors, and blenders, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Consistently follow and enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines, setting standards for best practices within the kitchen
  • Thoroughly open/close and clean your station, ensuring team readiness for success
  • Assist with food preparation as needed
  • Wash dishes by hand and by operating dish machinery
  • Remove garbage from restaurant, bus tables and retrieve dishes from dining areas
  • Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities to support the team's needs
